Smoky Mountain Jet Boats

Included with the
Go Blue Ridge Card

SEASONAL. Nothing can prepare you for the thrill of this unique and exhilarating ride. Smoky Mountain Jet Boats takes you to the Almond boat dock where you board the jet boat that takes you out on scenic Lake Fontana. With the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as your backdrop the ride is fun for all ages. These boats are extremely maneuverable and can spin within their own length. Highlights include a 150 foot waterfall and Wesser Falls at the source of the lake.

Or you can upgrade to the Jet Boat Hike Combo–where you will be transported from the Smoky Mountain Jet Boat office to the end of the “Road to Nowhere” in Bryson City; That is where you begin a 4-mile hike through a tunnel! Continue through some of the best forest the Great Smoky Mountains Park offers with towering poplars, majestic oaks, and abundant rhododendron. Stop periodically to rest, have snacks, and learn about the park and its incredible diversity of plants and animals. The hike ends at Forney Creek where you have lunch and a swim before the jet boat picks you up for the thrilling ride back. Experience hiking, history, picnicking, swimming and a jet boat ride.

Note: Reservations required at least 24 hours in advance. Allow a total time of one hour (you are on the water about 30-40 minutes).
